In an effort to understand the impact of child abuse in our country, state and region and how to prevent it, a healing field will stand as a memorial in Eau Claire.
The Child Abuse Prevention Healing Field is September 18 through September 20 at CVTC on the grassy area off Clairemont Avenue in Eau Claire. 1,400 U.S. flags will stand on the field to represent the lives lost to child abuse in our country. There is also a special program on September 18 called "When the Victim is a Child: Recognizing and Responding to Child Abuse."
