Wisconsin's first official Vietnam Veterans Day is coming up in late March

On March 29, the State of Wisconsin will celebrate its first official Vietnam Veterans Day. It's a day to honor and recognize those who served and sacrificed.
On Saturday, March 27, the first official Vietnam Veterans Day Celebration will be held at North High School in Eau Claire.
The event, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., will include speakers and presentations to serve as a sort of homecoming for many Vietnam vets who never got one.
