Position Summary: Responsible for general production of all gas flushed products. Production tasks include but not limited to: applying use by dates, bagging product, gas flushing (vacuuming sealing bags), leak detecting and boxing. In addition, each associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and
sanitary work area.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Produces gas flushed products according to Company procedures on a daily basis.
2. Communicate to lead person any discrepancies with crusts.
3. Meet all production standards set by Quality Assurance.
4. Understands and follows all established safety procedures, and uses required personal
protective equipment to reduce/prevent injury to self and others.
5. Keeps current and complies with OSHA regulations affecting operations.
6. Assists in weekly sanitization of plant equipment and work area.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assists in other departments as needed.
2. Other duties as may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this position.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Ability to adapt to change in priorities on a daily basis; ability to solve practical problems; ability to follow written or verbal instructions; good verbal communication skills; ability to manage time
effectively; self-motivation skills; ability to communicate professionally with a wide variety of people; ability to pay attention to detail and work with tight deadlines. Must be able to read and interpret the numbers on a tape measure. Must be able to perform basic math (add, subtract,
divide, and multiply).
Working Conditions: Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with regular exposure to noise, temperature variance, solvents, and equipment. Deadline pressure is an integral part of the job. Work hours are generally a 10 to 12 hour shift and average at least 40 hours a week, with
reasonable expectation of overtime. Alternates walking and standing for most of the workday. Stooping, climbing, kneeling, turning and twisting on a regular basis are required. Lifts and
carries up 35 pounds. Requires the ability to receive detailed information through verbal
Scheduled Work hours:
1st Shift--5am to 4pm, $9.00/hour
2nd Shift--4pm to 3am, $10.00/hour
