Population 1026, located in Clark County.
Considerable ability to plan, organize, assign, supervise, and direct the work of public works employees. Computer skills a must. Shall be able to work well with city government, department heads, consultants, and other agencies. Excellent public relations skills required. Proven ability running heavy equipment. Five years of experience working in municipal government preferred, or any combination of experience, training or education which demonstrates the knowledge and experience to perform the essential duties of the Director of Public Works. Should possess the physical ability to sustain long workdays and be able to function effectively in the outdoors in cold, hot, or inclement weather. Other work is performed in an office setting. Irregular activity schedules are common. CDL required. City requires 1 year probationary period.
