With less than two minutes remaining, the Eau Claire North Huskies were within three points of Wauwatosa East in the Division One Boys State Quarterfinal Game Thursday night, but the Red Raiders ended the game on a nine-point run and knocked off the Huskies 50-38.
The Huskies were forced to play from behind for nearly the whole game, but midway through the third quarter, a jumper from Andy Kleist tied it up at 26. Sophomore Evan Anderson followed that up with a close-range shot to give Eau Claire North the lead... it would be their only lead of the night.
6'11" Senior Eric Williams led the final charge for 'Tosa, he had 15 points and 4 rebounds on the night.
The North Huskies were co-led by Anderson and Tyler Brown who each had 12 points and 6 rebounds.
The Huskies season ends with a record of 18-5.
