Ramblers roll on to state title game with semifinal rout of Racine Lutheran
Behind a 28-point first quarter outburst, the Eau Claire Regis football team cruised to a 49-16 win over Racine Lutheran in a WIAA Division 6 state semifinal to earn a berth in the state championship game.

Behind a 28-point first quarter outburst, the Eau Claire Regis football team cruised to a 49-16 win over Racine Lutheran in a WIAA Division 6 state semifinal to earn a berth in the state championship game.
Ramblers senior tight end and defensive end Adam Ganske snared two touchdown grabs from quarterback Hayden Hougen and added an interception return for a touchdown to lead Eau Claire Regis past the Crusaders. Dan Sailer, Bradon Hall, Aaron Wolfe and Marco Ortiz also added touchdowns for the Ramblers, who earned their first trip to state since capturing the Division 7 title in 2003.
Now 12-1 on the season, Eau Claire Regis will play unbeaten Edgar next Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Camp Randall Stadium for the Division 6 state title.
