Arcadia football team unable to rally from halftime deficit in Division 5 state championship
Down 21-0 at halftime, the Arcadia football team broke through for a touchdown in the third quarter, but the Raiders couldn't stop St. Mary's Springs from putting up 21 more points in the second half, falling 42-7 Thursday in the Division 5 state title game.

Down 21-0 at halftime, the Arcadia football team broke through for a touchdown in the third quarter, but the Raiders couldn't stop St. Mary's Springs from putting up 21 more points in the second half, falling 42-7 Thursday in the Division 5 state title game.
The Ledgers would score on their first three possessions of the game, as Mitchell Beau, Anthony Parker, and Brian Fellers each notched a rushing touchdown, putting St. Mary's Springs ahead by three scores heading into intermission. The lead would grow to 28-0 after Beau's second rushing touchdown of the game, but Raiders tailback Reid Christ would break through for a 12-yard touchdown run to pull Arcadia with 21 again at 28-7.
In the fourth quarter, Parker and Lucas Weber each added rushing touchdowns to give St. Mary's Springs the Division 5 state title.
