Scientists in Sweden are working on a shot which will ease the craving for a smoke.

A vaccine to curb nicotine addiction is currently in the trial stage.

Researchers say the vaccine eliminates the quick high smokers relish and developers believe that once the high is gone so is the cause of the addiction to nicotine.

The drug's manufacturer hopes to have it on the market in two to three years.

In other medical news…

A small horse creates some big smiles in northern California.

Meet "Thumbelina." She is the world's smallest horse.

She spent some time with kids at the UC-Davis Children's Hospital.

Seems like there's nothing kids like better than a "little horse-play..."

Thumbelina is a dwarf miniature chestnut mare. She stands 17-and-a-half inches tall, weighs 57-pounds, and is officially recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the smallest horse in the world.

Thumbelina is also a globetrotter of sorts; she visits various hospitals and shelters.
