A new report finds cancer deaths have gone down. Researchers in Michigan say cancer deaths have declined in all age groups over the past 30 years, especially in younger people.
The drop ranges from six-point-eight percent per decade in the oldest age groups -- all the way to 25% per decade in the youngest age groups.
It's encouraging news because although cancer diagnoses continue to grow, the decreased mortality rate means improved screening methods and treatments are saving lives.
