Maybe you've seen kids gliding across the floor at the mall wearing shoes with a wheel in the heel, and while they look like fun, new research finds they can be dangerous.

Last summer, one hospital saw 67 injuries due to falls from roller shoes with the majority of spills happening while the child was learning to use them.

And it seems girls have a more difficult time staying upright. In this study, they were five times as likely to end up at the hospital as boys.

None of the children had been wearing protective gear.

In other medical news, a new study finds more than one-third of American homes have at least one gun kept inside, but over 70-percent of these gun owners say they don't store their firearms safely.

Researchers found parents who were raised in homes with guns were the least likely to store their own securely.

Those with children younger than five years old were the most likely to keep guns properly locked up.
