The last of more than 3,200 Wisconsin National Guard troops assigned to the 32nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team arrived at Fort Bliss, Texas over the weekend.

The troops are about to begin two months of training before being deployed to Iraq for 10 months.

Public Affairs Officer Lieutenant-Colonel Tim Donavan said the first few days at Fort Bliss were spent going through medical screenings and immunizations.

The troops also were issued their body armor and their weapons they will carry with them for the next year.
