Some of the federal stimulus money will be used to renovate medical facilities for veterans.

Senator Russ Feingold’s office announced Friday morning that the Tomah V.A. Medical Center will get about $5.8 million.

$2 million will be spent on renovating the urgent care unit and the mental health clinic.

Feingold says the money is critical, because so many soldiers returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan have serious physical and mental health concerns.
