Eau Claire garage destroyed by fire

Eau Claire, WI - (WEAU) A garage in Eau Claire was destroyed by fire Thursday night.

Eau Claire fire says the garage on 4th street on the north side of town is a total loss.

Firefighters say it was burning hot enough to melt the siding on a home next to it.

They sent four engines and paramedics, but say no one was hurt.

There's no word on if anyone was home at the time and firefighters say they don't know what caused it
