Truck hauling fair ride, goes for a ride

Loyal, Wis. (WEAU) - Loyal Police say a company hauling fair rides to a local festival had one of its trucks go on a ride of its own, into a building.

Officers say Spectrum Entertainment was parking one of its trucks overnight Monday and as crews were blocking it up, it rolled away and crashed into a city building.

Police say no one was inside the cab of the truck and no one was hurt. It happened around 2:30 a.m. Monday.

The building houses city snow plows and equipment. Police say the truck hit the part of building where the restrooms and furnace are sitting. Police say the company's insurance may pick up the tab.
