4 years prison time for 10th OWI

(WEAU) - A man convicted for his 10th offense operating a vehicle while intoxicated was ordered to serve four year in prison.

The Vernon County Sheriff's Department says on March 9th, Jeffrey Varnes, 52, of Hillsboro was arrested after crashing his car on County Highway V in the Township of Greenwood.

It says Varnes will also serve three years on probation and will have his license revoked for three years.
