Send UW Stout remembers former Chancellor in memorial service

MENOMONIE, Wis. (WEAU) -- The UW- Stout community is saying goodbye to a beloved member tonight.

The school held a memorial for former Chancellor Robert Swanson.
Swanson died on Jan. 27-th, at the age of 88. He has served as a Chancellor from 1972-1988.

Swanson spent more than 40 years at the school as a student, professor and administrator.

Some of the speakers at the event included Swanson’s children, grandchildren, his students, collages and members of community.
