WEAU (Boyd) - Fire crews were on the scene of a shed fire Friday night in Boyd.
Black smoke could be seen from Highway 29 after a shed caught fire in Boyd around 6 p.m. Friday night. Crews fought it until 8:30. Deputies tell us no one was hurt.
It happened on north Oshkosh road on a large dairy farm in Boyd. The fire chief told us workers milking cows noticed the shed on fire. No one was inside at the time.
It's a total loss. Damage is estimated at more than $150,000. The chief says it started in a shop area and was fully engulfed when crews got there. Five departments were on scene.
