(WEAU) - Governor Walker was in Eau Claire Monday to sign four bills into law.
The bills add protections for victims of domestic violence and their children, increase penalties for abusers of 911 and expand the law against impersonating a peace officer.
Walker said Monday "The items I've signed into law are part of a larger package of well over 200 bills that I've signed into session, which about 95% have been passed with both Republican and Democratic support alike. I think that's a good sign that working together we can get things done and we look forward to doing that even more in the future."
Attorney general J.B. Van Hollen was also at the event. Walker signed the bills at the Eau Claire County Courthouse.
