Man charged with repeatedly sexually assaulting a child

(WEAU) - A Pepin County man charged with multiple felonies for allegedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl and illegally owning firearms.

Pepin County prosecutors say Allan Dean Owens, 43, is charged with repeated sexual assault of a child and 13 counts of possession of a firearm by a felon. Investigators say Owens allegedly assaulted the girl over a 3 year period while her mother lived with him.

Investigators also say they found more than a dozen guns in a trailer Owens rented.

They say Owens is a convicted felon and is on the sex offender registry.
