Send Man changes plea in fatal crash case

(WEAU) - A man who prosecutors say caused a fatal crash near Eleva last August has changed his plea.

Court documents show Randolph Lange, 60, of Fall Creek pleaded guilty to several charges including hit and run involving death. Several other charges were dropped.

The Eau Claire County Sheriff's Department says Curtis Weckwerth, 58, of Eleva was riding a motorcycle on Highway D between Brackett and Cleghorn when Lange hit him.

Prosecutors say Lange's blood alcohol content at the time of the crash was .23.
