I think it is about time they investigate the jail officials. Not everyone that ends up there is guilty so dont be so ignorant, Just because your a friend of the accused. He doesnt like his job- then leave. I am sure if you were the one behiond bars for something and being treated as those people there treat everyone no matter if you are guilty or innocent, your story might change. If you have never been there you have no idea how the people are manipulated and tossed in with actual real violent individuals, and mocked by the staff. You might want to get a little background before thinking all the people running that place are so "HONEST" and valuable to our community and county. Maybe it is time for a change and to move ahead in time from Mayberry.

I know Mr Evans personally. The guy is a valuable member to the Sheriff's Office. I dont know what policy he 'violated' but I would think a Jail Administrator of the Year award sums up his work as a professional. The above comment complaining about the jail rules should show he does his job right.

I hope he gets fired. We are supposed to follow the rules and they have so many petty ones at the jail and now he should pay the price for his actions.
