EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – City crews are starting the last leg of picking up debris in Eau Claire after the May 24 windstorm.
The city says its final round of storm cleanup starts Thursday. Crews will remove the remaining tree and brush debris from boulevards in storm-affected areas. They’ll start on the southwest side of the city near the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Crews will continue to the north and east, as they make their way toward the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport.
Cleanup is expected to be done by Friday, June 22.
