Hot Buttered Rum Mix
1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
1 lb. butter softened
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 lb. brown sugar
1 tablespoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons cinnamon
Blend all of the above ingredients together in a mixer. Freeze in a covered container for at least 6 hours.
To make one serving: fill an 8 oz mug 3/4 full of boiling water (it must be very hot) Add 2 heaping tablespoons of the frozen mix and one ounce of rum. (dark, light or spiced rum all taste great)
You can garnish with a cinnamon stick. Delicious!
