If you're going to be driving on Highway 53 near I-94 Wednesday, you'll see some lanes closed because of construction.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will begin building crossovers in the median on Highway 53 from the state patrol headquarters to Highway 93. The work was supposed to begin Tuesday, but was postponed because of the weather.
The DOT says drivers should expect single lane closures in both the north and southbound lanes until mid-October.
