When Air Force Two lands at the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport today, it will be on a freshly renovated runway.
Finishing touches are being put on the airport's main North-South runway this morning.
Construction crews have been smoothing out wear and tear blemishes on the twenty-year-old runway over the past two weeks.
Jerome Thiele with the airport's management staff says all of the work will be done in time for Air Force Two's arrival around 5 p.m.
The project cost was about $800,000.
