The New Voters Project has bases on 52 campuses in the state and is currently working to register 18-24-year-olds to vote.
The initial goal was to have 85,000 youth voters, but the group has surpassed that and, at last, has 115,000 new voters.
The volunteer base is growing and one new volunteer says she's glad to be active outside party lines.
"This is strictly non-partisan is just saying no, we just care that you com and have your voice heard," says UW Eau-Claire Junior Kelly Pierce. "We don't care who you vote for. Just vote."
Next month the group will start their "Get Out the Vote" campaign, where they contact students through email and calls to assist them in where to cast their vote.
The project is running in 16 other states.
