Wisconsin Attorney General Peg Lautenschlager said Wednesday that she does not expect to file charges in the Sawyer County hunter killings until Monday at the earliest. She says the investigation is ongoing.

Chai Vang of St. Paul, Minnesota is being held in the county jail at Hayward on a two-and-a-half million dollar bond accused of shooting eight people Sunday and killing six of them after he was confronted by them about tresspassing on private property while deer hunting.

One survivor was released from a Rice Lake hospital earlier this week. The other survivor remains hospitalized in Marshfield and is listed in good condition.
