Lions Build Handicap Park

The 50 members of the Fall Creek Lions Club have been working on making a handicap accessible community park where an old creamery used to sit alongside Highway 12.

Besides a dock, the park has two accessible picnic shelters. It's taken two years, but Lions volunteers have almost completed the more than $100,000 park. They'll build an observation deck in the spring.

President Duane Walker says about $40,000 is still needed to pay for the park construction.
