The Whitehall Fire Department is getting closer to having a new training facility.
Fire Chief Scott Stendahl says this facility will cost about $150,000 and was not expected to be finished until next spring, but thanks to local donations it is almost complete.
Stendahl says the new facility will have movable walls to help create a number of real-life scenarios, smoke machines, four flights of stairs and a rappelling platform. He says this project took four years to plan.
