Charges have been filed in Minnesota for a second suspect in connection with Sunday's home invasion on Eau Claire's South side.
23-year old James Michael Pederson of Minneapolis has been charged with fleeing a police officer, theft of a motor vehicle and bringing stolen goods into the state.
He could face up to 18 years in prison if convicted.
Pederson was brought to Eau Claire on Tuesday where faces additional charges.
Pederson along with 27-year old Rory George, and one other suspect still at large, are suspected of breaking into a random house at around 4am Sunday and robbing the family and stealing two of their vehicles.
George is also expected to appear in Eau Claire County Court on Wednesday.
