The Dunn County Sheriff's office has released the identity of a missing hiker found dead yesterday in the Hoffman hills recreation area.
Police say the body is that of fifty three year old David Meyers of Eau Claire.
Meyers was reported missing after family members said he never returned home from an afternoon hike.
Meyers' vehicle was found in the parking lot of the recreation area and police located his body shortly after four o'clock in the afternoon.
While the cause of death is still under investigation, the Sheriff's department did say the man had an existing medical condition and foul play is not suspected.
