The court found probable cause that 27-year-old Rory George and 24-year-old Joshua Tibbetts broke into an Eau Claire home, threatened the family with a handgun and stole possessions as well as a car.
A charge of delivering methamphetamine was dropped at today's preliminary hearing.
No one was injured in the home invasion and George was caught after a high speed chase in St. Croix County.
No trial date has been set and both the suspects remain in custody.
