Dunn County Fire

Fire crews from several Dunn County departments spent yesterday afternoon fighting a large grass fire ...About 7-Miles North Of Menomonie.
Menomonie Firefighters say it started as A controlled burn on a farmowner's land In the town of Sherman
The high winds spread the flames onto nearby D-N-R land.
The fire also spread onto the land of another farmowner.
More than 40-firefighters battled the fire for more then five hours.
The fire eventually spread over more than 70-acres of land.
No one was injured, and no buildings were damaged.
Investigators are still trying to figure out how the fire started.
