Not Guilty Plea in Barron County Abuse Case

A Barron County registered nurse, who's facing sex charges, has pleaded not guilty.

James R. Fullerton, 75 of Barron is charged with second degree sexual assault of an unconscious victim.

He plead not guilty to the charge Thursday in Barron County Court.

Prosecutors say Fullerton sexually assaulted a 38-year-old man he was caring for while the man was sleeping.

His next court appearance is schedule for March 6.

i don't understand how this 38 year old could know he was assaulted if he was unconcious. was there someone else there watching? the whole thing sounds ridiculous
