With the Wisconsin Primary Tuesday, one final candidate made Eau Claire a campaign stop Monday.
With about 600 people present, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee held a campaign event at the UW-Eau Claire's Davies Center, starting at 11 a.m.
Huckabee stressed his conservative social and cultural background but also talked about why he wants to eliminate the IRS and tax Americans on consumption not income.
Afterwards, he also spoke about why some other republicans want Huckabee to shut his campaign down.
Republican Presidential Candidate Mike Huckabee says, “Some of the bosses in the Republican Party want us to just pack up but we won't. They don't want the people of Wisconsin to think the primary is important but Wisconsin's voice needs to be heard."
Huckabee also said, multiple times, that he is the only candidate left that has been the chief executive of a government unlike McCain and the top two democrats.
