Name of Monroe County Crash Victim Released
A Sergeant with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department says a 43-year-old woman died in Friday’s crash.

We now know the name of the person killed in a two-vehicle crash in Monroe County Friday.
A Sergeant with the Sheriff’s Department says 43-year-old Laurie Brooks of Cashton died after her car drifted over the median and hit a Monroe County highway pick-up truck head-on.
It happened Friday afternoon on Highway 27 near Melvina.
The crash is still under investigation.
