EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Traffic had to be rerouted on Clairemont Ave. in Eau Claire after a pontoon fell off the back of a trailer.
It happened just before 4 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Clairemont Ave. and London Rd.
The Eau Claire Police Department says a vehicle was pulling the pontoon when a strap broke, causing it to slide off onto the road.
No other cars were involved and no one was hurt.
The road was closed for about 20 minutes while crews removed the pontoon.
