A Strum woman could be facing up to 10 years in prison after she allegedly stole tens of thousands of dollars from her employer and then used the money for gambling.
34-year-old Shari Jaskowski is accused of stealing close to $50,000 from the Cenex convienience store in Foster.
According to the criminal complaint, Jaskowski used her position as the store's manager to steal the money using fake deposit slips between February and May of this year.
If convicted, Jaskowski faces a maximum sentence of ten years in prison and a $25,000 thousand dollar fine.
A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for Monday
