Hundreds gathered Saturday for a moment of silence, to remember the UW-Madison student who was killed last week.

Police have not yet said exactly how 21-year-old Brittany Sue Zimmermann died.

The Dane County Coroner will only say the Marshfield-native died from a "complexity of traumatic injuries".

A memorial vigil for Zimmermann was also held Sunday night at the University.

It included music from a UW-Madison string quartet, a display of photos, and a chance for students to sign a condolence message to Zimmermann’s family.
