Housing Project Gets Big Boost From State
The Grand River Station project in La Crosse will get $7.5 million dollars from the state.

A La Crosse housing project got a big boost from the state on Monday.
Governor Jim Doyle announced the Grand River Station project will get $7.5 million dollars in tax credits from the state. The Grand River Station will include a transit center, retail space, affordable rental housing, condominiums and a parking deck.
It is the second tax credit project in three years in the city of La Crosse. Gund Lofts opened last August and got $7.5 million dollars in affordable housing tax credits in 2006.
