The 45th annual Chippewa Valley Gem and Mineral Show was held in Eau Claire this weekend.
Eight vendors brought minerals, fossils, crystals, gems and jewelry for people to purchase or admire.
Organizers say more than 600 people stopped in to take a peek and maybe even learn something along the way.
"You start becoming more aware of the Earth. And that also makes you conscious of when you throw garbage out the window of your car. It's not just the dirty rock in your drive way,” said organizer Mary Martinson.
The Chippewa Valley Gem and Mineral Society puts on the show each year.
