Sexual Offender Tracking

Sexual predators in Wisconsin might soon have to wear a GPS monitoring device for the rest of their lives.
The state Assembly passed a bill that would require the use of global positioning technology to track anyone deemed sexually violent until the offender dies or is physically incapacitated.
Serious child molesters would also have to wear GPS trackers for 20 years after they're released from prison.
The measure now goes to the state Senate. If passed, it would then go to Governor Doyle.
Doyle's office says the governor supports the measure.
