A crop dusting plane crashed in Juneau County, killing the pilot.
The Federal Aviation Administration in Chicago confirmed the plane went down, killing a man about 5:30 Monday night. It happened near New Lisbon off of Highway 80 North.
Juneau County Sheriff Brent Oleson says the pilot was 52-year-old Robert Kazmierczak of Lodi. Kazmierczak was pronounced dead at Hess Memorial Hospital in Mauston.
Oleson says witnesses saw the plane making a couple of passes over the field. That's when they heard a strange noise, and saw the plane crash into woods. The National Transportation Safety Board is now investigating the crash, along with the F.A.A.

There was another deadly plane Monday night in Green County. Investigators say it killed the pilot of an amateur-built, single-engine plane.
Sheriff Randy Roderick says deputies received a 911 call late Monday afternoon that a plane had crashed in a field next to the Brodhead Airport. The privately owned airport is in Spring Grove Township and is about 30 miles south of Madison.
Rescuers say the male pilot was the only person in the airplane and the coroner pronounced him dead at the scene.
