The UW-Eau Claire campus wants to make sure it's ready if an emergency happens.

The campus tested its emergency notification system Friday to determine how an alert will impact the campus and cell phone technology in an emergency.

Alerts were sent out through mass e-mails, cell phone text messages, and computer pop-ups. After the test, faculty, staff and students were asked to complete a brief web survey to give feedback on the emergency notification system.
