Eau Claire Memorial hockey standout Jefferson Dahl will play for the Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League next year. The rights to Dahl were traded today from the Des Moines Buccaneers to Green Bay for three players. Dahl, the Mr. Hockey award winner in Wisconsin this year led the Old Abes to the state title this past season, says he was taken by surprise this morning when he saw that he was traded to Green Bay. Dahl had 96 goals and 115 assists during his four-year career at Memorial.
Dahl's Old Abes teammate David Donnellan was drafted today with the 8th overall pick in the first round by Sioux Falls.
