A high school teenager has been charged with the killing of a convenience store clerk.
Eighteen-year-old Derek K. Domke of Tomahawk was charged Friday in Lincoln County Circuit Court with first-degree intentional homicide and armed robbery in the March 22 slaying of 25-year-old Rochelle Anderson of Irma.
A police officer found Anderson's body behind the Zephyr Fuel gas and convenience store in Tomahawk where she worked after he became curious that the store was open past its normal closing time.
Court documents say Anderson was beaten and stabbed.
The criminal complaint says Domke's palm print was recovered from a sink in a bloody bathroom at the store.
A court commissioner ordered Domke jailed on $1 million cash bail.
