Wisconsin's Agriculture Industry has a new ambassador, as the 61st Alice in Dairyland was crowned last night.

23-year-old Ashley Kay Huibregtse of Plymouth beat out four other contestants for the title.

The new Alice in Dairyland graduated today with a degree in education and communication from UW-Madison.

Huibregtse will spend the next year traveling the state to appear at farms, functions, fairs and schools.

She'll start her duties on June 2nd, and will receive a salary of $40 thousand.
