Firefighters from around the area helped knock down a fire on the south side of Eau Claire on Saturday.
Crews responded to a home on 3339 Blakeley Avenue around 1:30p.m. on Saturday.
Roads around that area were blocked while fire crews worked at the scene.
Chris Reedy, with Township Fire, says there was smoke showing from the back of the house when crews arrived.
Reedy says everyone in the house made it out safely, and without injuries.
He says firefighters are pretty sure they know where the fire started.
Chris Reedy says, "We know it started in the rear of the house somewhere. Not exactly sure how or why it started yet."
The Red Cross is helping the family find some place to stay tonight.
There is no damage estimate yet, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
