Crash In Missouri Kills Two People from Tomah Save Email Print

Grandview Missouri Police say two people from Tomah are dead after a traffic crash Friday.

It happened on Highway 71 just south of Kansas City. The local police department says 13 people from the Tomah and Franklin areas were driving in a van when it collided with an SUV. The van then lost control, hit the center concrete barrier, and flipped.

They say some of the Wisconsin passengers were not wearing seatbelts and were thrown from the van.

Officers say a 4-month-old boy and a 45-year-old man both from Tomah died.

Names haven't been released.

Officers say the van then lost control, hit the center concrete barrier and flipped.

They say some of the Wisconsin passengers were not wearing seatbelts and were thrown from the van. Another person had to be removed by rescue crews.

Police say a child died from injuries in the crash.
