Body Identified As Russell Nielsen
The Rusk County Coroner has identified the body found in the Chippewa River as 30-year-old Russell Nielsen of Rice Lake.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Russ's family and friends and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a great guy. He always had a smile on his face and was always making everyone laugh. He will be missed by so many people and he will never be forgotton. RIP Russell!!
My heart breaks by the sad end to this story. He is in a better place and in good hands. I hope the family can now have closure. Hold on to the memories and he'll live on in your hearts!! My thoughts and prayers are with all who are affected by the loss of this fine young fella. God Bless!

To the family I know this is not how you wanted the outcome to be but I also know that you wanted him found. Maybe now you will be able to find the peace and closure you need.
